Drs. Leahy and DiSalvo-Ost & Associates

I found Dr. Leahy while living on the south side of Chicago, I'd been going to the usual eye 👁️ docs in a box for my eye exam and glasses, thinking they were the best deal. But once I found Dr. Leahy, I never went anywhere else! Her staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr Leahy is so very knowledgeable and personable, actually remembers your name and history; and not just from looking at your chart! She offers a wonderful selection of glasses and different contact lenses that work for your specific need. She offers tests that check behind your eyes for early detection and stays on top of any diagnosis found to establish correction. I feel comfortable with her and her ability and even though I’ve moved North, I’ll always travel back to see her, the best eye doctor for me!

I can’t say enough about Dr. Leahy. She’s been my family’s optometrist for 25+ years. She’s a wonderful optometrist and is so kind and will go out of her way to help you. Her staff is equally wonderful. They’re always so nice, so efficient, and they make you feel very comfortable. I highly recommend…they’re the best!!

I've been going here for my eye care for a number of years and Dr. Disalvo and her whole staff are so nice and courteous. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else for my eye care. 👍🏾 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

01/2021 Current review: Another great visit. This office was able to fit me in last minute due to a cancellation. They contacted me right away since since my earliest appointment (due to my schedule) wouldn’t be until March. They helped me select the right frames and avoid making a bad choice. Haha. 8/20 Everyone is so kind and helpful. Shout out to Karina! She was so lovely sweet and patient. Edit 8/21 Second time there. And Fernando assisted me. He way so helpful and fun..he really made the experience great. I've been going to eye doctors for over 20 years and he was by far one of the best people to help me. Kudos to this place for hiring great people! We appreciate it.

I HATE going to the eye doctor, but my wife makes me go once a year. The only thing that makes this tolerable is Dr. Disalvo-Ost. I dare you to find a doctor in the U.S. who knows more than she does. She is the most knowledgeable and thorough optometrist we have ever been to, the wife is always singing her praises. To top it off, she is the nicest person and very gentle. No matter where you are in Chicagoland or even in neighboring states, if you need expert care for your eyes, Dr. Disalvo-Ost is worth the trip.

Been going to Dr Leahy for over 30 years and they never disappoint. Always willing to answer questions, very knowledgeable and are helpful in picking out the wide variety of frames available.

I have been a patient for several years and they are the best. Dr DiSalvo is so patient and thorough. She explains everything about the test results and recommendations for contacts and glasses. The entire staff is friendly and very helpful.

Incredibly friendly and adept staff who makes you feel welcome the moment you step inside the door. And Dr. Redmond is an incredibly skilled physician and a wonderful and caring person who will always give you the very best care. My wife and I both come here for all our vision care. I appreciate how personalable they are which is how most places should be but aren't! They deserve great credit for being so genuine and explaining in great detail all questions I asked. They are phenomenal at what they do!

I've been going to Dr. Leahy for several years now, he spends a lot of time with you. I had some issues that my other long time eye doctor just couldn't seem to help me with but Dr. Leahy did. Hours are very convenient and it's easy to get an appt.
