Dr. Nicole Lang, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry from Illinois College of Optometry. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition, with a minor in Chemistry, from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She also earned a Master of Arts in Medical Sciences from Loyola University.
Dr. Lang became interested in optometry after a life-changing experience in grade school when she received her first pair of glasses. After her piano teacher noticed she was struggling to read sheet music and suggested an eye exam, Dr. Lang discovered the profound impact that clear vision could have on confidence, learning, and everyday life. That experience inspired her passion for helping others achieve better vision and improved quality of life.
As an optometrist, Dr. Lang is focused on providing comprehensive eye care and helping patients experience the benefits of clear, comfortable vision. She values the opportunity to not only improve her patients’ eyesight, but also to identify and manage ocular conditions that may be connected to overall systemic health. Dr. Lang finds it especially rewarding to support her patients’ long-term wellness through personalized, compassionate care.
