This practice has an interesting history dating all the way back to 1939. At Halsted and 79^th Street, Dr. Weinberg and Dr. Custard developed one of the largest optometric practices in the area. They adopted a professional yet highly personal atmosphere, which has been maintained over the years.

In the early 60's they moved to the 95^th Street and Maplewood location in Evergreen Park. In 1986 we added an Orland Park office that had been developed by Drs. John and Dan O'Brien. In 1993 we opened a third office in Oak Lawn. Finally, in 1996, we combined our Evergreen Park and Oak Lawn offices into a single, larger location at 4445 West 95^th Street in Oak Lawn. Presently, with these two locations, we are able to provide services for a large section of the south side and southwest suburbs.

During these years, optometry has made many significant advancements as a profession. Our offices have remained on the cutting edge with state of the art equipment to diagnose and treat eye disease. In addition, we offer the most current styles of frames, lenses, and contact lenses.
